Happy Autism Awareness Day freebie!

Sorry for being slack and not getting onto my newsletter as promised. It's been another rough month here but we are starting to see the light at the end of this challenging tunnel.  I'm sure there will be another hurdle around the corner with the way our lives currently are, but 1 challenge at a time we will get there, hopefully!

Today is a special day for us, its Autism Awareness Day and all through April its awareness month.  I've made a special freebie for today and will try and do a few more autism freebies for this month.  I hope you like them and enjoy todays frame made up of puzzle pieces (autism symbol is the puzzle piece!).

Template Freebie and bonus recipes!

Setting up new routines is hard work! Even more so with a non-verbal autistic child! But we are slowly getting there in teenie tiny baby steps... So needless to say I haven't had much time to do any designing lately but I did manged to make you a freebie template.  Recently I created a recipe photo album and do my recipes up on 4x6 photo cards as it not only looks great but the page is easy to wipe clean when stored in a photo album with a protective sleeve!  I even use different colours for different categories so I can flip through and see at a glance what type of recipe it is!

The last couple of weeks I've made my two favourite dips a few times and so I've decided to not only share my recipes but also the template I use to make them. The original recipes have been tweaked to my tastes so feel free to do the same to mine if you want to change it up!  I picked up a cheap cute photo album and its great as it stands up well when cooking because of its hard cover.  Anyway hope you like it and get some use out of it.  The download includes the 2 recipe cards as well as the PSD template.  Enjoy!

Handwriting wordart freebies

After getting Ella down to sleep the last 2 nights at a reasonable hour, I found some spare time to work on a few designs ideas.  Tonight I was playing around with my bamboo and handwriting. Man its harder than I thought it would be!  Anyway I came up with some handwritten wordarts and although I'm not totally 100% in love with the final draft, I didn't want to throw it away either.  I think I'm just not happy with how thick I made them, but I'm sure they will still work fine for designs (hopefully!).  So here they are, my not so neat handwriting wordarts!  Hopefully someone out there will like them!  :-)
